The BMT-SD Series Universal Testing Machine is expertly engineered with a rigid column-type frame and double workspaces, delivering superior performance for both tensile and compression testing applications. Double Test Areas:

  • Upper workspace: optimized for tensile testing with up to 850 mm test area.
  • Lower workspace: ideal for compression and transverse/bending tests with an adjustable 3-point bending fixture (span up to 500 mm).

Exceptional Load Measurement:
Equipped with a Class 0.5 load cell for high-precision measurements. Load cells are easily replaceable to accommodate different force ranges, allowing sensitive testing for both small and large specimens.

Wide Testing Capability:
Suitable for various flat and round specimens. Hydraulic wedge-type (V-type) grips can accommodate samples up to 70 mm in diameter and 75 mm in thickness.

Long Piston Stroke:
A special low-friction hydraulic piston with ≥ 200 mm stroke allows easy testing of long and high-strain materials.

Advanced Sensor Integration:
Fully compatible with video extensometers, laser extensometers, LVDTs, strain gauges, and automatic extensometers. Special EEPROM sensor plugs store calibration data, making sensor replacement seamless and accurate.

  • Position sensor with 1-micron resolution.
  • Load channel resolution up to ±180,000 steps.
  • Adjustable load control (0.01 kN/s – 25 kN/s) and displacement control (0.1 mm/min – 100 mm/min).
  • Includes RMC-7 Handheld Controller for quick and safe specimen setup without needing a computer.

Efficient Hydraulic System:
The hybrid hydraulic power pack integrates a servo valve and wedge grip controls, ensuring smooth and reliable actuator movement during testing.

User-Friendly Software
The Universal Testing Software provides real-time data visualization, flexible graphing (load, stress, strain, displacement over time), and direct export to Excel for research and documentation. Test reports can be easily generated and saved for quality assurance and R&D projects.
